Techniques Used
Twisted German Cast On, knit, purl, brioche knit (brk), brioche purl (brp), brioche increases and decreases, Elastic Bind Off, bias asymmetrical triangle shawl shaping
Construction Notes:
This asymmetrical triangle shawl is knit on the bias, which creates a lovely boomerang shape. You will begin by casting on very few stitches, then increasing more stitches at the right edge, while decreasing fewer stitches at the left edge. The two-color brioche stitch pattern will begin to emerge almost immediately, growing as the shawl grows. The stitch pattern is meant to mimic shells found on the beach, the perfect weekend activity.
This shawl shape is so easy to wear, and using the lightweight yarn makes it a year-round staple for your wardrobe!
This pattern is both written and charted for your convenience!
